Lori Vintilescu is the founder and owner of Relax & Heal and The Relax & Heal Foundation, and can currently be found practicing at Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA, as well as for referral-based clients in her home in Fairfax City.
Therapeutic Massage has become her third career path after marketing & event planning for non-profits and large law firms, and working from home while starting a family. After navigating the hectic world of three little girls, including a set of twins, she sought a path that would introduce a calming atmosphere to her life, while allowing her to pursue a career that fits her ever-changing schedule.
Lori feels passionate about helping others while maintaining balance in her own life.
Massage therapy is as good for the therapist as it is for the client, so Lori faced the challenge of going back to school while juggling the school schedules of having one elementary aged child and twins in preschool.
Northern Virginia Community College offers a top-notch program with 100% pass rate on the national licensing exam, and graduates are sought-after by medical professionals for their extensive training in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology as well as multiple massage therapy modalities. Lori graduated from the program in December 2014.
Lori began her career at a chiropractic office in Fairfax, VA where she enhanced her skills in orthopaedic massage and was able to utilize SRT to bring relief to many clients with chronic pain. Issues associated with frozen shoulder is one of her specialities!
After a brief stint at a salon & spa in Fairfax City, Lori was hired by Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA to join their elite team of five-star professionals.
